3 How do you assist instructors with accommodation?
Answer Instructors who have been offered a contract and invited to a training session will receive assistance in finding and securing accommodation. Under CHUNGDAHM’s hourly remuneration option, the monthly rent and utilities are the responsibility of the instructor. Our Human Resources team will show you apartments and discuss options with you. CHUNGDAHM will also provide the 5M KRW key money deposit which is required to secure an apartment in Korea. Many CHUNGDAHM schools also offer the monthly salary package, which includes rent-free housing and benefits such as severance and 50/50 medical insurance. Please refer to specific job postings for details or ask your recruiter to explain the advantages of each option.
2 What if I have a family emergency or an unexpected (but valid) need to return home?
Answer While CHUNGDAHM contracts instructors for a minimum of one year to ensure class stability and continuity, we understand that there may be unavoidable emergencies that require immediate attention. In these cases, CHUNGDAHM works closely with instructors to allow appropriate time off to resolve the situation and then make a quick return to teaching.
1 How much can I expect to save per month?
Answer Depending on your personal financial habits, you can estimate to save anywhere from 10% to 50% of your salary or higher. More money can be saved in smaller cities as opposed to larger cities as the cost of living is higher.
